What Is RSS?

I've been seeing orange RSS or XML buttons more and more, not knowing what they were. Until I discovered RSS.

You probably heard that Google bought Utube. Google CEO Eric Schmidt said: "This is the next step in the evolution of the internet. It (video’s) a natural next stepIt's "the next big thing"

Well, RSS feed is not about video, but about news being delivered TO YOU. Imagine getting newsfeeds from CNN or BBC, as well as just about anything else, including news on upcoming movies, DVD releases, your favorite band's tour updates, etc.

Once you get started, it's like having your favorite parts of the Web come to you. No need to go out and check for updates all the time.

"RSS" means "Really Simple Syndication." But that is just a fancy way of saying that you can keep up with all the latest reviews on weight loss products, tips and tricks from this site, without having to come back to my site every week to see "what's new."

Whenever I put up a new page or update an old one, I release it through RSS. In short, my research comes to you automatically. Yes, RSS is amazing. No e-mail. No spam. It's so easy to subscribe and unsubscribe. If you don't like my RSS feed, you can just delete it from your RSS reader (please don't!) It's great stuff and I use it myself!

And once you start, you'll soon be tracking all your other favorite interests and news in the world.

How do you get started? Easy !
